Inspire+ Mini Olympics
The Mini Olympics is a multi-day event with all Inspire+ member schools invited, plus associate member schools. Schools bring teams of their Year 3 and Year 4 pupils with Year 5 and Year 6 Bronze Young Ambassadors supporting them. The charity’s secondary school Young Ambassadors and Sports Leaders are instrumental in planning and running the day. The sporting zones that the teams participate in during the day are run by Inspire+ coaches and local clubs. They’re a great way for clubs to promote themselves and simultaneously engage with a large number of young people from across South Kesteven.
Team building
We continue to hold team building events throughout the year in order to motivate ourselves, bring us closer together and have fun too. From raft building and paddle boarding to BBQs and banana boat excursions, we’re always on the go and you can see details of these events here.
Ukraine
Along with the rest of the nation, we were horrified by the events taking place in Ukraine and last year donated £1 to the Ukraine Appeal from every invoice we completed. If we can help in other ways, feel free to get in touch so we can discuss them.
The Rotary Club’s Annual Swimarathon
KBR Gas & Oil Services continue to support the Rotary Club's Annual Swimarathon as a lane sponsor. The event is overseen by the Grantham Rotary Club in order to raise money for local schools, clubs and charities. This year, over £40,000 was distributed to local charities and projects.
Battle Back Golf
We are proud to sponsor a fantastic charity - “Battle Back Golf” – which is hosted by Belton Park Golf Club in September each year. This is to aid seriously injured personnel in the armed forces who have gone through a traumatic experience whilst performing their duties for their country. These injured personnel have difficulty integrating into civilian life and physical and psychological rehabilitation has a proven track record when it comes to aiding success, enhancing self-confidence and boosting morale.

At KBR Gas & Oil Services we like to keep our employees up to date with the latest products and developments within the industry. A day out at the annual Installer Live show is fun as well as educational.
